I bought these with the intention of altering them. I’ll get to that but first I’ll review how they fit before alterations. I’m 5’4 and 112 pounds. I bought a small and they were still nice and baggy. The crotch is a little awkward like all pants on Amazon so that isn’t a surprise, and since they are baggy it looks ok. I do wish the straps had an option to go one notch smaller because they are a bit too long. They look cute with a sports bra and aren’t so baggy on the sides that you feel naked. I love the color and the way the fabric looks. I’ve been looking for cute cottage type short overalls and haven’t had any luck so I got these, cut off the legs, added elastic, and used the legs to make ties to create a more fitted waist. I added a strawberry patch that I already had laying around. I’m pretty happy with the result. I wish the legs were more bubbly looking but I would have to get a medium to achieve that I think. I might add big pockets on the legs with a patterned fabric and I might replace the buttons but you get the idea. They are a good base for alterations if you want to give it a try!
