This little dress is adorable! I included some pics, but I am sorry for the quality of them. They don’t do this dress justice.First, I think it fits true to size. I usually wear a 4 in AP and I got this in a 4. The length is just right. It’s so hard for me to find dresses that aren’t mini skirts these days! I am also pleased with the modesty level of the neckline. The fabric is fabulous. I have a thing for velvet so I couldn’t resist. The pattern and colors are truly lovely, making this more than just another little black dress.The shoulders have these elastic black straps that help the dress stay in place, you can see them in my pics. I think they need to ride a little lower on the shoulder than I have them.I think I could truly benefit from shapewear and the proper foundational undergarments in this dress, but it’s still pretty forgiving. I can’t wait to wear it!For reference, I am 5’9”, 132lbs, and I bought a size 4.
